Edmonton detached prices surge as condo values slide in May

Greater Edmonton's housing market shows contrasting trends: detached homes saw a 4.8% annual price increase with rising sales and listings, while apartment condos experienced an 8.7% price drop from April and a 3.7% decline year-over-year amid falling sales. Overall residential sales fell 13.4% annually, new listings rose 21.7%, and inventory increased 23.9% from last year, indicating a shift toward higher supply.
